Call on Credit Unions

What business could be more local than credit unions? While the rest of our financial system has melted down, credit unions have increased their total deposits over the last year by 4.4% and have added over 600,000 new members!

I happen to think its a great category to start calling on if you haven’t already.

Credit unions offer most of the same services any other financial institution, but they are not-for-profit and owned by their members.

Many people join credit unions because they offer lower rates on most loans than other financial institutions.

You can start searching for credit unions in your area by zip code or cities by using the Credit Union Locator.

There is also a credit union association in most states. Submit “your state credit union association” to Google and it should be the first search result.

As you build your list of prospects, focus on credit unions with the most members and largest mount of total assets first.
